AI agents and automation for California companies, built remotely on Pacific hours.

We work with companies across California on AI agents, AI workflow automation and AI integration. Cloudsoft Industries LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. We serve clients worldwide; our engineering team works from Colombia (UTC-5). There is no California branch and no on-site staff, so this page is explicit about how remote delivery works for Pacific time, for California privacy rules and for the industries that run the state's economy.

Who we work with in California

We work with companies across California, and the shape of the work changes with the region. In the Los Angeles area, entertainment, media and creative production teams carry heavy content operations: rights and clearances, asset tagging, delivery specifications, scheduling and localization. Across the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, software and SaaS companies want AI inside the product and agents running support and revenue operations without adding headcount. San Diego pairs life sciences, biotech and healthcare operations with a deep bench of engineering-led companies. Sacramento sits close to state-government vendors, health systems and agriculture-linked businesses, and the Central Valley farming and food chain generates its own stream of orders, certifications and compliance paperwork. Along the coast, logistics tied to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach moves containers, trucking and customs paperwork that still lives in inboxes and spreadsheets. The AI work we scope usually starts in one of these five industries.

  • Technology and SaaS: support triage, account research, usage-based billing checks, in-product AI features and internal knowledge search.
  • Entertainment and media: rights and clearance tracking, asset intake and tagging, delivery-spec validation, localization workflows.
  • Healthcare and life sciences: referral and intake handling, scheduling, policy and protocol search, administrative document work with human review.
  • Logistics and ports: shipment-exception handling, customs and bill-of-lading document extraction, carrier and drayage communication.
  • Agriculture and food: grower and buyer order handling, certification paperwork, supplier onboarding and compliance document checks.

What we build for California teams

Three solutions cover most of the requests we see from California companies, and each has its own page with use cases for the state's industries. AI agents are software workers that read a request, decide on the next step, call your tools and hand off to a person when they should; they start at $18,000. AI workflow automation turns a repeated, rules-heavy process such as a handoff, an approval or a reconciliation into a monitored workflow, and starts at $8,000 per workflow. AI integration and RAG connects language models to your own documents, databases and systems so answers are grounded in your data, with permissions respected; it starts at $15,000. Before any of them we recommend the AI Readiness Sprint at $4,500, a short scoping engagement that ranks use cases and tells you honestly which ones are not worth building. If you are weighing options, our guides compare building an agent against buying one and automation platforms against custom code.

  • AI agents for California businesses: from $18,000.
  • AI workflow automation for California teams: from $8,000 per workflow.
  • AI integration and RAG for California companies: from $15,000.
  • AI Readiness Sprint: $4,500. AgentOps after launch: $1,500/month.

Working hours: California and Colombia

Colombia is on UTC-5 all year and does not change its clocks, while California moves between Pacific Standard Time and Pacific Daylight Time. That means Colombia is 3 hours ahead of California in winter and 2 hours ahead in summer. A 9:00 a.m. Pacific standup is noon in Colombia in winter and 11:00 a.m. in summer. In practice the working days overlap from the start of your Pacific morning through roughly mid-afternoon, which is when design reviews, demos and incident calls happen. The gap also helps: questions you raise late in your afternoon are picked up when the Colombian day starts, so answers are usually waiting before you log in the next morning. We schedule remote delivery on your business hours, and we agree on a communication rhythm in week one.

Data and compliance context in California

California's privacy regime shapes how AI systems should be built here. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives residents rights over their personal information, including rights to know, delete, correct and limit the use of sensitive personal information, and it puts obligations on the contracts between a business and the vendors that process data for it. For an AI system that means deciding up front what personal data reaches a model, what is stored in logs and vector indexes, how long it is kept, and how a deletion request reaches every copy. California's privacy regulator has also been developing rules on automated decision-making, so confirm current requirements with your counsel before an agent makes decisions about people. In healthcare, HIPAA applies nationwide and California adds its Confidentiality of Medical Information Act. We do not hold SOC 2 or any other certification, and we never imply otherwise; we build to the controls your security review asks for, document them, and work inside your cloud accounts. None of this is legal advice.

  • Data minimization: only the fields a task needs are sent to a model.
  • Deletion that propagates: logs, caches and vector indexes are designed so a deletion request can reach them.
  • Human review on decisions that affect people, with an audit trail of what the agent saw and did.
  • Your cloud, your keys: the system runs in your accounts and repositories, not in ours.

How an engagement works

Most California engagements follow the same three stages. We start with the AI Readiness Sprint, where we map your workflows, data and systems, rank candidate use cases by value and risk, and give you a build plan you can take to any vendor. Next comes the build, priced by solution rather than by the hour, with demos on a fixed cadence in your time zone and the code in your repositories from the first commit. After launch, AgentOps keeps the system healthy with monitoring, evaluation, prompt and model updates and incident response. Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.

What remote delivery means for a California team

We have no California branch, no local staff on the ground and no plans to present ourselves as if we did. The team works from Colombia, joins your calls on video and ships through your repositories and ticketing tools. For most AI work that is a good trade: you get senior engineers on Pacific hours and a clear owner for the outcome. If your project depends on people being physically present in your building, a different partner is the honest answer. If it depends on clear scope, fast iteration and systems that keep working after launch, that is the work we do.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a California presence?

No. Cloudsoft Industries LLC is a Delaware company and our engineering team works remotely from Colombia. We join your Pacific-time calls on video and work through your repositories. If you need someone physically on site, we are not the right fit.

How does the time difference work with Pacific time?

Colombia is 3 hours ahead of California in winter and 2 hours ahead in summer. A 9:00 a.m. Pacific meeting is noon in Colombia in winter and 11:00 a.m. in summer, so your morning and early afternoon overlap with our workday and late-afternoon questions are answered before you log in the next day.

Can you build AI systems that respect CCPA and CPRA?

We design for them: minimal data sent to models, retention limits, deletion that reaches logs and indexes, and human review for decisions about people. We do not provide legal advice, so we work alongside your counsel and document the data flows they need to review.

How much does AI development cost for a California company?

Pricing is the same wherever you are: the AI Readiness Sprint is $4,500, AI agents start at $18,000, AI workflow automation at $8,000 per workflow, AI integration and RAG at $15,000, and AgentOps at $1,500/month. The Sprint tells you which of these you actually need.

Who owns the code and how are we billed?

Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
