AI agents and automation for Illinois companies, from Chicago freight desks to downstate plants.
We work with companies across Illinois on AI agents, AI workflow automation and AI integration. Cloudsoft Industries LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. We serve clients worldwide; our engineering team works from Colombia (UTC-5). We have no Illinois office and no on-site staff, so this page is direct about how remote delivery works on Central time, what Illinois biometric law means for AI projects and where the state's industries leave the most manual work.
Book a scoping call →Who we work with in Illinois
Illinois runs on movement and measurement. Chicago is a national crossroads for rail, trucking and air cargo, home to freight brokers, forwarders and third-party logistics firms, and it hosts derivatives exchanges, trading firms, banks and insurers whose operations teams drown in confirmations and reconciliations. Naperville and the western suburbs hold corporate campuses, software companies and large healthcare systems. Springfield pairs state-government vendors with insurance and hospital employers. Peoria is a heavy-equipment and agribusiness town, and Rockford is a manufacturing center known for aerospace components and precision parts. Between the cities lies farmland, with grain handling, seed, equipment dealers and food processors that generate orders, grading records and compliance paperwork. The AI work we scope usually begins in one of five industries.
- Logistics and freight: load-tender handling, carrier and broker emails, proof-of-delivery matching, detention and accessorial billing checks.
- Financial and trading services: trade-confirmation matching, reconciliation breaks, onboarding paperwork, policy and procedure search.
- Manufacturing: supplier quality documents, work-instruction search, maintenance-request triage, purchase-order and invoice matching.
- Healthcare: referral and intake handling, scheduling follow-up, benefits and policy questions, administrative documentation with human review.
- Agriculture: grain and seed order handling, grading and delivery records, dealer communications, certification paperwork.
What we build for Illinois teams
Three solutions cover most of what Illinois companies ask us for, and each has a page with examples from the state's industries. AI agents read a request, decide the next step, use your tools and escalate to a person when the case calls for it; they start at $18,000. AI workflow automation takes a repeated process with clear rules, such as a tender, an approval or a reconciliation, and turns it into a monitored workflow from $8,000 per workflow. AI integration and RAG lets a language model answer from your own documents, databases and systems with permissions intact, starting at $15,000. Most teams begin with the AI Readiness Sprint at $4,500, which ranks possible projects and tells you honestly which to skip. If you are comparing paths, our guides cover building an agent against buying one and automation platforms against custom code.
- AI agents for Illinois businesses: from $18,000.
- AI workflow automation for Illinois teams: from $8,000 per workflow.
- AI integration and RAG for Illinois companies: from $15,000.
- AI Readiness Sprint: $4,500. AgentOps after launch: $1,500/month.
Working hours: Illinois and Colombia
All of Illinois observes Central time, which makes scheduling straightforward. Colombia keeps UTC-5 year-round, so it is 1 hour ahead of Chicago while Illinois is on Central Standard Time and shows the identical hour while Illinois is on Central Daylight Time. A 9:00 a.m. standup in Chicago is 10:00 a.m. in Colombia in winter and 9:00 a.m. in summer. For logistics and trading teams that start work early, the overlap is especially useful: our engineers are already online when a dispatch desk opens and still online when the afternoon rush hits. We schedule remote delivery on your business hours and settle the communication rhythm, who joins which call and how urgent issues are escalated, during the first week.
| Season | Illinois (Central) | Colombia (UTC-5) | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Winter (Central Standard Time, November to March) | 9:00 a.m. | 10:00 a.m. | Colombia is 1 hour ahead |
| Summer (Central Daylight Time, March to November) | 9:00 a.m. | 9:00 a.m. | Same clock time |
Data and compliance context in Illinois
The Illinois law every AI team should know is the Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). It governs biometric identifiers such as fingerprints, face geometry and voiceprints, and in broad terms it expects written notice and consent before collection, a published retention and destruction policy and care in how the data is stored and shared. It also lets individuals bring claims directly, which is why Illinois companies take it seriously. For AI projects this matters whenever a system could touch faces in photos or video, voice recordings used to identify a speaker or fingerprint time clocks. Our default is to keep biometrics out of the design unless there is a clear need, a lawful basis and your counsel's approval. In healthcare, HIPAA applies nationwide, and financial clients typically bring their own vendor-risk reviews. We hold no SOC 2 or other certification and never imply otherwise; we document controls and work inside your accounts. None of this is legal advice.
- No biometrics by default: voice agents transcribe content without identifying the speaker, and nothing uses face data unless you decide otherwise with counsel.
- Data minimization: only the fields a task needs reach a model.
- Audit trails for what an agent read, decided and sent, which helps vendor-risk and compliance reviews.
- Your cloud, your keys: systems run in your accounts and repositories, not ours.
How an engagement works
An Illinois project usually runs in three stages. We open with the AI Readiness Sprint, mapping workflows, data and systems, ranking use cases by value and risk and delivering a build plan you can use with any vendor. The build comes next, priced by solution rather than by the hour, with demos on a regular cadence in Central time and code in your repositories from the first commit. After go-live, AgentOps keeps the system healthy with monitoring, evaluation, model updates and incident response. Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
| Stage | What happens | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| AI Readiness Sprint | Use-case ranking, data and systems review, build plan | $4,500 |
| AI agents | Agent design, tool integration, evaluation, launch | $18,000 |
| AI workflow automation | One monitored workflow, built and handed over | $8,000 per workflow |
| AI integration and RAG | Grounded answers over your documents and systems | $15,000 |
| AgentOps | Monitoring, evaluation, updates, incident response | $1,500/month |
What remote delivery means for an Illinois team
We do not run an Illinois office, we have no staff on the ground and we will not describe ourselves as if we did. Our engineers work from Colombia, join your calls on video and deliver through your repositories and ticketing tools. For software, data and document work this is a practical arrangement: senior engineers on nearly identical hours and a single accountable owner. If the job requires hands on a production line or a presence in a hospital ward, you need a local integrator. If it needs clear scope, fast feedback and software that keeps working after launch, we can help.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have an Illinois office or staff?
No. Cloudsoft Industries LLC is a Delaware company and our engineering team works remotely from Colombia. We join your calls on video and work through your repositories. If you need people physically on site, we are not the right fit.
How does the time difference work with Chicago?
Colombia is 1 hour ahead of Illinois in winter and on the same clock in summer. A 9:00 a.m. meeting in Chicago is 10:00 a.m. in Colombia in winter and 9:00 a.m. in summer, so your working day overlaps with ours in full.
How does BIPA affect an AI project?
BIPA covers biometric identifiers such as fingerprints, face geometry and voiceprints. We keep biometrics out of designs by default, and if a use case truly needs them we involve your counsel early on consent, retention and storage. We do not give legal advice.
How much does AI development cost for an Illinois company?
Pricing is the same wherever you are: the AI Readiness Sprint is $4,500, AI agents start at $18,000, AI workflow automation at $8,000 per workflow, AI integration and RAG at $15,000 and AgentOps at $1,500/month. The Sprint tells you which apply.
Who owns the code and how are we billed?
Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
