Who we work with in Florida

Florida is a state of several different economies, and the AI work we scope looks different in each. In Miami, trade, finance, real estate and hospitality companies run operations that cross borders, currencies and languages, with a lot of correspondence in both English and Spanish. Fort Lauderdale combines marine services, hospitality and the freight that moves through its port. Orlando is built around visitors: resorts, attractions, conventions, vacation rentals and the contractors who supply them. Tampa and the Gulf coast carry banking back-end operations, insurance operations and large health systems. Jacksonville leans toward logistics, rail and port activity, together with insurance and banking operations. Across all of them, real estate brokerages, property managers and title companies keep a steady flow of documents moving, and independent medical and dental practices spend a surprising share of their week on paperwork. Most of the AI work we scope for Florida companies begins in one of five industries.

  • Tourism and hospitality: guest messaging, booking changes, vendor coordination, review responses and group-event logistics.
  • Real estate: lead qualification, listing and lease document handling, showing coordination, tenant and owner communication, closing checklists.
  • Healthcare: referral intake, insurance verification paperwork, scheduling follow-up, policy search and prior-authorization document preparation with human review.
  • Logistics and trade: customs documents, shipment exceptions, carrier and broker communication, import and export paperwork.
  • Financial services: client onboarding documents, insurance-claim intake, reconciliation and know-your-customer file preparation.

What we build for Florida teams

Three solutions cover most of what Florida companies ask us about, and each has its own page with use cases for the state's industries. AI agents are software workers that read a request, decide the next step, call your tools and hand off to a person when they should; they start at $18,000. AI workflow automation turns a repeated, rules-heavy process, such as a booking change, a document check or a reconciliation, into a monitored workflow and starts at $8,000 per workflow. AI integration and RAG connects language models to your own documents, databases and systems so answers come from your data with permissions respected; it starts at $15,000. Before any of them we usually recommend the AI Readiness Sprint at $4,500, a short scoping engagement that ranks use cases and says plainly which ones are not worth building. If you are deciding between options, our guides compare building an agent against buying one, and automation platforms against custom code.

  • AI agents for Florida businesses: from $18,000.
  • AI workflow automation for Florida teams: from $8,000 per workflow.
  • AI integration and RAG for Florida companies: from $15,000.
  • AI Readiness Sprint: $4,500. AgentOps after launch: $1,500/month.

Working hours: Florida and Colombia

Colombia stays on UTC-5 all year and never changes its clocks, while most of Florida moves between Eastern Standard Time and Eastern Daylight Time. In winter the two clocks match exactly. In summer, when Florida moves forward an hour, Colombia is 1 hour behind. A 9:00 a.m. Eastern call is 9:00 a.m. in Colombia in winter and 8:00 a.m. in summer. The western Panhandle sits on Central time, so for companies there Colombia is 1 hour ahead in winter and on the same clock in summer. For nearly every Florida client this means a fully shared working day: standups, demos, incident calls and approvals happen in real time, with no overnight waiting for answers. We schedule remote delivery on your business hours and agree on a communication rhythm in the first week.

Storm season, continuity and the way Florida operations behave

Florida businesses plan around hurricane season in a way companies elsewhere do not. When a storm approaches, message volume spikes at the same moment people are dealing with their own disruptions: guests rebooking flights, tenants reporting damage, policyholders opening claims, patients rescheduling, shippers asking where a container is. These are exactly the moments when a well-scoped AI agent or workflow earns its keep, because the first pass of reading, classifying and drafting can absorb a surge while staff handle the cases that need judgment. They are also the moments when a fragile system fails, so we design for continuity: monitored workflows, clear fallbacks to manual handling, and alerts routed to a named owner. Because our team works remotely from Colombia, delivery is not tied to the same local weather your teams face.

05

Bilingual operations from Miami to Orlando

Many Florida companies serve customers, tenants, guests and patients in both English and Spanish, and the second language is often handled by whoever happens to be available. Our engineering team is Spanish-speaking, which helps when a workflow has to read a message in one language, answer in another and keep the tone appropriate for each. We build bilingual intake, drafting and translation steps with human review where wording matters, such as contracts, medical instructions and collections notices. We do not claim translations are perfect; we build checks, glossaries of your approved terms and a path for a bilingual employee to correct and approve before anything sensitive goes out.

06

Data and compliance context in Florida

Florida's Information Protection Act sets expectations for reasonable security measures and for notifying people and the state when personal information is breached, so an AI system that touches customer data should be designed with that duty in mind: limit what reaches a model, control what is logged, and know exactly where copies live. Florida also has a Digital Bill of Rights, whose scope is narrow, so ask your counsel whether it applies to your business. In healthcare, HIPAA applies nationwide, and businesses taking card payments, such as hotels and restaurants, are expected to follow card-industry data security standards. Financial services firms answer to the federal rules that govern customer financial information. We do not hold SOC 2 or any other certification, and we never imply otherwise; we build to the controls your security review requires, document them and work inside your cloud accounts. None of this is legal advice.

  • Data minimization: only the fields a task needs are sent to a model.
  • Payment data stays out of prompts: card numbers never need to reach a language model.
  • Human review on decisions that affect people, with an audit trail of what the agent saw and did.
  • Your cloud, your keys: the system runs in your accounts and repositories, not in ours.

How an engagement works

Most Florida engagements follow the same three stages. We start with the AI Readiness Sprint, where we map your workflows, data and systems, rank candidate use cases by value and risk, and give you a build plan you can take to any vendor. Next comes the build, priced by solution rather than by the hour, with demos on a fixed cadence in your time zone and the code in your repositories from the first commit. After launch, AgentOps keeps the system healthy with monitoring, evaluation, prompt and model updates and incident response. Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.

What remote delivery means for a Florida team

We have no Florida branch, no local staff and no intention of implying otherwise. The team works from Colombia, joins your calls on video and ships through your repositories and ticketing tools. For software and automation work, that is usually a good trade: senior engineers who share your clock for most of the year and a single accountable owner for the outcome. If your project requires someone physically standing in your property, clinic or warehouse, a local partner is the right answer. If it depends on clear scope, quick iteration and systems that keep running after launch, that is the work we do.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a presence in Florida?

No. Cloudsoft Industries LLC is a Delaware company and our engineering team works remotely from Colombia. We join your calls on video and work through your repositories. If you need someone physically on site, we are not the right fit.

How does the time difference work for Florida?

In winter, Florida and Colombia are on the same clock. In summer, Colombia is 1 hour behind Eastern time. Most of Florida is on Eastern time, so your working day overlaps almost completely with ours; the western Panhandle is on Central time.

Can AI help us handle message surges during hurricane season?

Yes, for the repetitive first pass: reading incoming messages, classifying them, pulling the booking, policy or shipment record and drafting a reply for staff to approve. We design fallbacks to manual handling so the workflow does not become a single point of failure when conditions are already difficult.

Can you build for bilingual English and Spanish operations?

Yes. Our team is Spanish-speaking and we build workflows that read, draft and route in both languages, with glossaries of your approved terms and human approval for contracts, medical instructions and other sensitive wording.

How much does AI development cost for a Florida company?

Pricing is the same wherever you are: the AI Readiness Sprint is $4,500, AI agents start at $18,000, AI workflow automation at $8,000 per workflow, AI integration and RAG at $15,000, and AgentOps at $1,500/month.

Who owns the code and how are we billed?

Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
