AI agents and automation for Ohio companies, built remotely on a shared Eastern clock.
We work with companies across Ohio on AI agents, AI workflow automation and AI integration. Cloudsoft Industries LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. We serve clients worldwide; our engineering team works from Colombia (UTC-5). There is no Ohio branch and no on-site staff. This page covers how remote delivery works for the Eastern clock, which Ohio rules matter when AI touches sensitive data, and where the state's factories, insurers, hospitals and distribution networks tend to find the first useful project.
Book a scoping call →Who we work with in Ohio
We work with companies across Ohio, and each metro has its own center of gravity. Columbus combines state government, a large research university, insurance and banking, and a retail and consumer-brand sector that runs a great deal of its operations through spreadsheets and shared inboxes. Cleveland has deep roots in metal, polymer and equipment manufacturing alongside its major hospital systems. Cincinnati leans toward consumer goods, retail headquarters, finance and a growing logistics footprint on the river and the interstates. Dayton carries an aerospace and defense supply chain that lives under strict documentation rules, and Toledo is known for glass, automotive components and freight moving through the lake and rail network. Ohio's position between the coast and the Midwest also makes it a natural place for warehousing and fleet operations. The projects we scope most often fall into the five industries below.
- Manufacturing: bill-of-material and engineering-change documents, supplier scorecards, nonconformance reports, quote preparation for custom orders.
- Healthcare: referral and records requests, prior-authorization support, credentialing paperwork, internal policy search.
- Insurance and finance: submission intake, policy and claims document handling, agent and broker inquiries, reconciliation.
- Logistics: load-tender emails, proof-of-delivery matching, detention and accessorial disputes, carrier onboarding documents.
- Retail: vendor onboarding, product-data cleanup, return and chargeback disputes, store-operations knowledge search.
What we build for Ohio teams
Three solutions cover most of the requests we hear from Ohio organizations, each with its own page and use cases for the state's industries. AI agents are software workers that read a request, pick the next step, use your tools and pass the case to a person at the right moment; they start at $18,000. AI workflow automation converts a repeated, rules-heavy process into a monitored workflow and starts at $8,000 per workflow. AI integration and RAG connects language models to your documents, databases and internal systems so answers come from your own data and respect who is allowed to see what; it starts at $15,000. Before committing to any of them, many Ohio teams run the AI Readiness Sprint at $4,500, which ranks possible projects and tells you candidly which are not worth building. Our guides on build versus buy and on automation platforms versus custom code help if you are comparing paths.
- AI agents for Ohio businesses: from $18,000.
- AI workflow automation for Ohio teams: from $8,000 per workflow.
- AI integration and RAG for Ohio companies: from $15,000.
- AI Readiness Sprint: $4,500. AgentOps after launch: $1,500/month.
Working hours: Ohio and Colombia
Ohio observes Eastern Time. Colombia is on UTC-5 year-round and never changes its clocks. During Eastern Standard Time, from November to March, a Columbus clock and a Colombian clock show the same hour. During Eastern Daylight Time, from March to November, Colombia is one hour behind. So a 10:00 a.m. production meeting in Cleveland is 10:00 a.m. in Colombia in winter and 9:00 a.m. in summer. For a plant that starts early, that matters in a good way: first-shift questions can be answered in the first hour of the day rather than waiting for a team several time zones away. Overlap covers essentially the whole working day, and we agree on a communication rhythm in week one.
| Season | Ohio (Eastern) | Colombia (UTC-5) | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Winter (Eastern Standard Time, November to March) | 10:00 a.m. | 10:00 a.m. | Same clock |
| Summer (Eastern Daylight Time, March to November) | 10:00 a.m. | 9:00 a.m. | Colombia is 1 hour behind |
Data and compliance context in Ohio
Ohio has a few features worth knowing before an AI project starts. The Ohio Data Protection Act gives businesses a legal safe harbor against certain data-breach tort claims when they maintain a written cybersecurity program that conforms to a recognized framework, which is a practical reason to document how any new AI system fits that program. Ohio has also adopted an insurance data security law modeled on the national template, so carriers and agencies operating in the state have written program and vendor-oversight expectations that reach the service providers they use. Healthcare providers sit under HIPAA nationwide, and manufacturers in defense or automotive supply chains often receive security questionnaires from their customers. We hold no SOC 2 report or any other certification and never suggest otherwise. What we do is build to the controls your reviewers ask for, document data flows, and keep the system inside your own cloud accounts. This is not legal advice.
- Vendor oversight: we provide the data-flow documentation your security review needs.
- Data minimization: a model sees only the fields a task requires.
- Retention and deletion built into logs, caches and vector indexes.
- Human approval for anything touching a claim, a patient or a financial decision.
Where the first project usually starts
In Ohio, the first project is most often sitting in a shared inbox. A Cleveland fabricator receives requests for quotation in six formats and rebuilds each one by hand. A Columbus insurance agency processes submissions that arrive as PDFs with half the fields missing. A Cincinnati retailer chases vendors for product data that never matches its template. A Toledo freight broker rekeys load details from carrier emails. The pattern is the same: unstructured input, a human reader, a system of record. Those are the places where AI earns its keep, because the work is high in volume, low in glamour and easy to measure. We pick one, define what a good result looks like, and prove it before expanding.
How an engagement works
Most Ohio engagements run in three stages. The AI Readiness Sprint maps workflows, data and systems, ranks candidate use cases by value and risk and delivers a build plan you can take to any vendor. The build is priced by solution rather than by the hour, with demos on a fixed cadence in Eastern time and the code in your repositories from the first commit. After launch, AgentOps provides monitoring, evaluation, prompt and model updates and incident response. Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
| Stage | What happens | Starting price |
|---|---|---|
| AI Readiness Sprint | Use-case ranking, data and systems review, build plan | $4,500 |
| AI agents | Agent design, tool integration, evaluation, launch | $18,000 |
| AI workflow automation | One monitored workflow, built and handed over | $8,000 per workflow |
| AI integration and RAG | Grounded answers over your documents and systems | $15,000 |
| AgentOps | Monitoring, evaluation, updates, incident response | $1,500/month |
What remote delivery means for an Ohio team
We have no Ohio office, no local staff and no wish to imply otherwise. Our engineers work from Colombia, join your calls on video and deliver through your repositories and ticketing tools. For software and automation work that is a good arrangement: senior engineers on almost your own clock and one accountable team. If the project needs someone physically at your plant or warehouse, we are not the right partner. If it needs clear scope, steady iteration and systems that keep running after launch, that is our work.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have an Ohio presence?
No. Cloudsoft Industries LLC is a Delaware company and our engineering team works remotely from Colombia. We join your calls on video and work through your repositories. If you need someone physically on site, we are not the right fit.
How does the time difference work with Eastern time?
In winter the clocks match. In summer Colombia is one hour behind Ohio, so a 10:00 a.m. Eastern call is 9:00 a.m. in Colombia. Nearly the whole business day overlaps.
Does the Ohio Data Protection Act change how you build?
It is one reason we document data flows and align with your written cybersecurity program, so a new AI system fits what you already maintain. We are not lawyers; please review the details with your counsel.
How much does AI development cost for an Ohio company?
Pricing is the same wherever you are: the AI Readiness Sprint is $4,500, AI agents start at $18,000, AI workflow automation at $8,000 per workflow, AI integration and RAG at $15,000, and AgentOps at $1,500/month.
Who owns the code and how are we billed?
Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
