AI agents and automation for Massachusetts companies, built remotely on Eastern hours.

We work with companies across Massachusetts on AI agents, AI workflow automation and AI integration. Cloudsoft Industries LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. We serve clients worldwide; our engineering team works from Colombia (UTC-5). There is no Massachusetts branch and no on-site staff, so this page explains how remote delivery fits the Commonwealth's research-driven economy, its data-security rules and the way laboratories, hospitals, universities and financial firms actually work.

Who we work with in Massachusetts

We work with companies across Massachusetts, and the work differs by city. In Cambridge and Boston, biotechnology and life sciences companies move quickly from research to development and drown in protocols, lab records, vendor documents and regulatory correspondence. The Longwood and downtown medical communities, together with hospital networks in Worcester and Springfield, create heavy administrative workloads around referrals, authorizations and scheduling. Boston and Cambridge are also dense with universities, whose admissions, research-administration, grants and student-services offices answer thousands of repetitive questions. Financial services, from asset managers to insurers, anchor Boston and Springfield. Along the Route 128 corridor and in Lowell, robotics, hardware and software companies need support automation, documentation search and AI features inside products. The AI work we scope usually starts in one of these five industries.

  • Biotechnology: protocol and lab-record search, vendor and supplier documentation, regulatory-correspondence tracking, study-operations paperwork.
  • Higher education: admissions and student-services inquiries, grants and research-administration workflows, policy search for staff.
  • Healthcare: referral and prior-authorization handling, scheduling, intake summaries, internal policy search with human review.
  • Financial services: advisor and client-service research, onboarding file checks, claims and policy document handling, reporting packs.
  • Robotics and technology: support triage, field-issue reports, documentation assistants and in-product AI features.

What we build for Massachusetts teams

Three solutions cover most requests from Massachusetts companies, and each has its own page with use cases for the Commonwealth's industries. AI agents are software workers that read a request, decide on the next step, call your tools and hand off to a person when they should; they start at $18,000. AI workflow automation turns a repeated, rules-heavy process such as a grant-compliance check, a referral intake or an onboarding file into a monitored workflow, and starts at $8,000 per workflow. AI integration and RAG connects language models to your own documents, databases and systems so answers are grounded in your data with permissions respected; it starts at $15,000. Before any of them we recommend the AI Readiness Sprint at $4,500, a short scoping engagement that ranks use cases and tells you honestly which ones are not worth building.

  • AI agents for Massachusetts businesses: from $18,000.
  • AI workflow automation for Massachusetts teams: from $8,000 per workflow.
  • AI integration and RAG for Massachusetts companies: from $15,000.
  • AI Readiness Sprint: $4,500. AgentOps after launch: $1,500/month.

Working hours: Massachusetts and Colombia

Colombia is on UTC-5 all year and does not change its clocks, while Massachusetts moves between Eastern Standard Time and Eastern Daylight Time. In winter the two share exactly the same clock, so a 9:00 a.m. lab-operations check-in in Cambridge is 9:00 a.m. in Colombia. From spring to autumn Massachusetts is one hour ahead, and the same check-in is 8:00 a.m. for the team in Colombia. Either way the whole Massachusetts business day sits inside our working day, which matters for hospitals and labs that start early. We schedule remote delivery on your business hours, and in week one we agree who is reachable when something breaks in production and how a request flows from your team to ours.

Data and compliance context in Massachusetts

Massachusetts has one of the more specific data-security rules in the country. Regulation 201 CMR 17.00 requires organizations that hold personal information of Massachusetts residents to maintain a written information security program with administrative, technical and physical safeguards, and it expects you to oversee the service providers that touch that data. For an AI project that means knowing which personal fields reach a model or an index, what a vendor can access and how that access is controlled and documented. In healthcare and biotech, HIPAA applies nationwide, and research settings add their own consent and data-use rules, which your compliance or institutional teams interpret. Customers in all five of the state's major sectors commonly ask for SOC 2 reports; we do not hold SOC 2 or any other certification and never imply otherwise. We build to the controls your review requires and work inside your cloud accounts. None of this is legal advice.

  • Data minimization: only the fields a task needs are sent to a model, with identifiers masked where possible.
  • Vendor oversight: access scopes, credentials and data flows documented so they fit your written security program.
  • Human review on outputs that affect patients, students, clients or regulatory records, with an audit trail.
  • Your cloud, your keys: the system runs in your accounts and repositories, not in ours.

How an engagement works

Most Massachusetts engagements follow three stages. We start with the AI Readiness Sprint, where we map your workflows, data and systems, rank candidate use cases by value and risk, and give you a build plan you can take to any vendor. Next comes the build, priced by solution rather than by the hour, with demos on a fixed cadence in your time zone and code in your repositories from the first commit. After launch, AgentOps keeps the system healthy with monitoring, evaluation, prompt and model updates, and incident response. Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.

What remote delivery means for a Massachusetts team

We have no Massachusetts branch, no local staff on the ground and no plans to present ourselves as if we did. The team works from Colombia, joins your calls on video and ships through your repositories and ticketing tools. Research-heavy organizations are used to collaborating with distributed groups, and for most AI work that is a good trade: senior engineers on Eastern hours and one clear owner for the outcome. If your project requires someone physically inside a laboratory or clinical space, a different partner is the honest answer. If it depends on clear scope, fast iteration and systems that keep working after launch, that is the work we do.

Frequently asked questions

Do you have a Massachusetts presence?

No. Cloudsoft Industries LLC is a Delaware company and our engineering team works remotely from Colombia. We join your Eastern-time calls on video and work through your repositories. If you need someone physically on site, we are not the right fit.

How does the time difference work with Massachusetts?

In winter Colombia and Massachusetts share the same clock. From spring to autumn Massachusetts is one hour ahead, so a 9:00 a.m. Eastern meeting is 8:00 a.m. in Colombia. Your whole business day falls inside our working day.

Can AI work fit 201 CMR 17.00 requirements?

We design for them: minimal data sent to models, documented access and credentials, work inside your cloud accounts and an audit trail. Your written information security program stays yours, so we document data flows for your counsel and security team to review. This is not legal advice.

How much does AI development cost for a Massachusetts company?

Pricing is the same wherever you are: the AI Readiness Sprint is $4,500, AI agents start at $18,000, AI workflow automation at $8,000 per workflow, AI integration and RAG at $15,000, and AgentOps at $1,500/month.

Who owns the code and how are we billed?

Contracts and invoicing in USD through Cloudsoft Industries LLC (Delaware). Clients own 100% of the code and IP once each milestone is paid. Code lives in the client's repositories from day one. Mutual NDA available.
